“Great music & comedy is good for the soul as everyone knows.” The Chicken House Opry Show is in Mission, Texas in the winter months, in Mountain View, Arkansas in April and October of each year and ‘on the road’ the other months. Members of the cast have won more national awards than any other comedy & music show in America. It’s been said by many people that this show would be worth $120 per ticket on Broadway. Reed’s response: “A 3rd of that is too much considering all the fun we have on stage!”

We are down home folks who love to entertain people. And, no doubt about it, the more applause and the more laughter…..the harder we work!

This show features headliners, too. Those who have appeared on national television, released commercial recordings, toured across the country, worked in and out of Nashville, etc., such as Sherwin & Pam Linton, Terry Smith, Red Johnson, Jay & Tammy Roy, John Rex Reeves, Punjo Reed, Lucy Jackson, The Link Family, Ike Thurn, Tommy Helms, Ooty-Pooty & Sister Cutie, Rich Bellert, Bob & Sheila Everhart and more.

The comedy skits receive accolades from around the country.  Skits include the I. B. Woodbrains, the Marriage Counselor, Saddam Who-Sane, Tribute To FEMA, Mabel-Maggie & Matilda, Chief Sequoyah, the Millionaire Show with Regus, Trip To The Doctor, Betty Lou & Billy Too and many more.
